Update on my Blog Photo

G'day to you all, it is under the cloud and a bit coolish here in Aussie Land @ 5pm.  Compared to a hot day yesterday. Here downunder you will get all seasons in one day or over a couple days.

Just an update on my blog photo.  The photo will be the same as my etsy store logo/picture, thought I would match them. Shows more of what I do.  Crochet, embroider and bead.  COol, I am happy with that.

Just a quick enquiry...Does anyone have an easy in the round crochet pullover pattern...I have been searching, but no luck in the round and easy. This will be my first attempt at a jumper. Would be great if anyone has one or where to download (free pattern would be great). Thankyou.

Great News

Hello, how are you, preparing for the xams and new year, have you got your xams tree up

Great news, I made a sale on 8th of dec, Monday, how wonderful is that. I get so thrilled when someone buys one of my crochet creations or beadings. Great felling. It is sent and will get there soon, great xmas gift.

I have relisted the two items that were sold, so if you are keen you can go have a look and maybe you will like them too. On the Filet and Doily side, I have completed the Little Beauty, without the flowers, looks great to me, all I need to do is tuck in the tails and block. Turned out good. Love the color.

The Rose and Scottish Dogs are blocked and ready to be put somewhere special.

Started another Doily, it is called Snow Storm, can be found here.  I am using a 1.75 mm steel crochet hook and 100% cotton equ to 4ply in color or Purple Rhahps. Looks good so far, I have completed 4 rounds.

I am still crocheting the seed stitch green scarf, slow, few rows a day, not even that. Will get there soon, looks really good.

I hope you all are having a great days leading up to xmas, I have not yet put tree up. Soon.

Filet Crochet update

Hello readers and followers, how are you today?

Me, I am well and happy. 

This is an update on my filet crochet projects.  The scottish dogs are blocking, should be dry today, blocked yesterday.  

THe daffodil table runner is at a stand still for now, as I have started a round doilly.

The Rose is completed, I have yet to block the piece, shall do that today.

Started a round doilly called Little Beauty from here and a bigger picture here . I am up to round 12. Using 1.75mm steel crochet hook and 100% equ 4ply cotton thread in the color cerise.  Looks ok so far.

On the crochet side, I am still continuing with the seed stitch scarf, I only do a few rows a day, its getting there, I want the scarf extra long, that way I can wear in different ways. Cool.

More Filet Crochet ;0 Plus some Scarfs

Hello, how was everyone's ThanksGiving? Are you all ready for Christmas ? :)

I have been busy creating more Filet Crochet projects. I came across them here

Here are three that I will do next. 

This one below is in progress. Created using 1.25mm steel crochet hook with 4ply 100% cotton thread. It is a table runner. Imagine the same pic but upside down, that is the complete pic.  The table runner is about 1m wide and very long. Long term project and loving it.

I have completed 14 rows. I love how well the flower is well defined.

I am enjoying making these projects.  Keeps me busy and happy. I cannot wait till they are complete, to see what they look like... :)

Not much on the crochet side, just trying to finish a light green scarf made from cotton, acrylic mix yarn. Very soft. Using a pattern of seed stitch, which again is from Teresa, very nice pattern, check it out here . She also has another two scarf patterns, v stitch and shell stitch.

Well. that is all for now. Hope you decide to create some of these, they are great fun, especially the scarfs.
