I have stumbled across this simple and easy crochet ripple pattern. Lucy from Attic24 has made this design herself and she has more to share, there is a simple hexagon pattern too. Excellent photos to show where to insert your hook and how the pattern looks on paper. Fabulous teacher and loves to work with colors, her house is filled with colorful blankets and pillowcases with her own designs.
I have made a sample run and it is easy as, will continue and make a table runner

I remember my mother making afghans using the ripple pattern. I've seen the hexagon used as a center for crocheted vests. They are classic crochet!
