Way too Hot in Aussie Land

G'day to you all, how are you? YOu would not believe the weather here in Aussie Land, Victoria, Melbourne!!  Today they say will reach 44 deg celcius, are they joking or what and yesterday was hot, 40.  Aaah, I will jump in my helichopper and go to the coldest region known to man, The Archtic, wanna join me?

Try and sit thru a room, no airconditioning (stuffed, needs to be topped up!), with just a small fan in your face. That will do for now, until I drop in my own puddle of sweat.

No worries ladies and gentlemen, I am ok.

With this heat, I manged to put together a bookthong, with the purples. Nice I think. Shall take shots and place in my store. Got another two in the greens.

Working on a Doilly set for my shop. I know the snowstorm and some coasters will be great, new items to share with the world. I cannot wait till finished.

Well that will be all for now, I hope everyone is alright with all the weather they are getting from mother nature.

Updates on Etsy Shop

Hello readers, how is everyone's new year going, we are half way through January, all settling in !!

It is 11:30am on 19th Jan and it is warming up outside, with lots of sunshine.

I am refreshing my etsy store 'Crochet Creations'

I have created a new banner.

I am also renewing items and refreshing photos.

I also have ideas for new creations to be added to the store.  I have bought lots of beads !!  Hope to see you at the store and come back often.

Crochet Updates and New Projects

Hello readers, it is 4pm here on 11th jan 09 and very hot outside, inside, not so bad.

How are you?

I have crochet some.....and looming some projects

I have turned, Simply Elegant Crochet Motif & Needle Case, into a simple crochet with yarn, coaster or placement under vases. Using two colors, main color white with alternating in blue, green, yellow and soon with red.  I have many color variations on mind for this great creation by Teresa, click here for her vid and here for written instructions.

I am hooked on this one for a while, I am planning to make a few with different mixed colors and solid colors.  They are easy, fun and quick to make. By crochet with diff hook sizes I can create variations on size.

I have a pic....somewhere on my phone....which I have to transfer..... :)

aahh...here we go...hooking up the phone now... 4:17pm...waiting for pics to transfer to pc...4.19pm....@4.28pm came back from putting out load of washing (i know a bit late you thinking, so what, its hot and sunny and its a boring day, Hubby at work)... (: .. tada.. download done and here are the pics.....   :O) (sorry for rambling on, one of those funny days.)

Here is the one with the blue. ( I have not taken pic yet of the green and yellow). Made with 3.50mm crochet hook using Lincraft Double Knitting Yarn, in white and light blue.

Here is the Snow Storm Doilly, made in Dark Blue, 2ply acrylic yarn. I have made in purple and green mix (pics soon).

Circlular Knitting Looms

I have three (3) loom projects going...three scarfs actually

Two in this gorgeous, soft and warm acrylic yarn, named Veronica, in bluish and greyish color. The third in polyester also soft and in color of greens and whites.  I have a pic, easier than trying to explain the patterns.  Look and feel better in life. Not much light in the house. Cannot wait till they are completed and wraped around my neck. 

and here is a pic of Puss, my puddy cat, in/on plastic bag with wooden pegs..strange but cute.

Great Wishes for the New Year and Updates

G'day from DownUnder, it is almost 11am here on the 3rd of Jan 2009. Lovely weather outside, sunny and warm.

Hope everyone had a great and happy and safe new year celebrations.... :)

I have updated  my store,  a new special on the most viewed item...check here.

I am working on a fresh banner for the store, not a big change, just a few new pictures of items. 

I have completed a few doilly's. The ROse is blocked and laying a dressing table with the Scottish Dogs, along with a purple SnowStorm.  Will post pic at some stage.

I love creating the SnowStorm, easy to follow instructions and the last round makes ripples in the doily.  I have made one in purple with cotton thread.  Also created one in green mix acrylic. I will have to do few more. Love  the look of snowstorm.  I can use different thread or acrylic yarn and different size hooks to create different sizes in the snowstorm doily.  Will post pics soon.

Also on the crochet side I am still stitching up the seed stitch green scarf, it is very long at the moment and should be finishing up soon.

On the knitting loom I have a very soft thickish acrylic bluish greenish scarf. Looks great at the moment, enjoying every minute.  Will post pic soon...i promise.

For now that is all, but I will share few pics on my travels the other day...thanks for reading.
