There are three birds sitting on the railings that are attached to the side of the house, used to have sheets of metal on top, was old, was taken down, wooden railings left. Birds love to fly by and sit and chat. Caught the shadow of three of them on the material above the fence.

If you would like to join in the fun head over to Hey Harriet, for great SSS from everyone else.

Shadow Shot Sunday SSS #4

Hello and how are you on this lovely and gloomy Sunday, here in Aussie Land on the 24th of May?

I am excellent :)

Here is my SSS #4

This is a shot from yesterday, Gliding day number 3 for me. At the end of gliding, myself and hubby were heading back towards the club, crossing the runway and I noticed a couple of shadows of us two and I was thinking, since I had an excellent flight, this looks like an excellent shot for SSS.

If you would like to join in the fun for Shadow Shot Sunday, go visit HEy Harriet and check out here collages for shadow shots on Sundays.

Here is the story of my third gliding experience that inspired the shadow shot Sunday above.

I went Gliding on Saturday, yesterday and I love the sport even more. I love to Fly/Glide in the beautiful sky above me. I do not belong on this grounded earth bound life. I was 2800 feet above you and instead of taking photos whilst in the air, I was filming the whole experience, from take off to landing. Here are some shots from the day. I have been encouraged to learn to fly a Glider, but I need more flying experience to feel comfortable to take over. Next flight next Saturday.
Every time I go up I feel more at home, comfortable and enjoying every minute.

Ok this first shot is of me strapped in the Glider, getting my cam ready for filming, sitting at the front with the pilot behind me, ready for the flight.

Next being towed up by the AeroTow, weather not good for a winch lauch

This is the AeroTow coming in for a landing after letting us go

And here is my coming in for a Landing

Fabulous, exhilarating, magical, relaxing, enjoyable, beautiful, cool and majestic flight for me this time around. I shall have to have a flight without my cam's, so that I can fully relax and enjoy myself. This flight was 15 minutes, first flight 30min and second flight 10min. All with 3 different gliders and 3 different pilots.

This flight was at Ararat Aerodrome, Grampians Soaring Club, Victoria, Australia. If you are nearby go and have a flight it is the most magical experience you can have. Club is opened on the weekends and appointments during the week. During public holidays flights are at the Grampians and Port Fairy.

Here are some shots from my flight of the sky, from ground up

Thank you for dropping by and let me know if you will have a shot at being above 1000 feet in a majestically Glider.... :)

Shadow Shot Sunday SSS #3

Hello, how are you?

I am great.

On Saturday, went to the Grampians Soaring Club, hung out and came back home. No gliding, too windy. On the way back took the scenic route around the Wind Farm, got some pics, but it was getting dark. Friday went up country walks, raining that day, got some great shots. Overall had a fantastic two days with hubby. Along the way, I found a new way to make granny square/circle, it is called, The Granny Circle in Crochet, check it out here. Looks better once you complete one.

Here is my third Shadow Shot Sunday SSS #3

Just a bit of renovation on a wall, between kitchen and living rooms. Used to be an arch in the center of the wall, now that is gone, full wall with door onto one side. This is shadow from the ladder that was left next to the wall during the morning sunshine through the front windows.

Below photos on my travels and crochet :)

Below is pic of the fiery circle turned into square...hubby loves this one, reminds him of space and he wishes to frame and loves me for crocheting

Below is the rain drops from Fridays rain during country travels.....

Below is some fungus or moss growing on a bush/tree, very beautiful.....

Below is the Wind Farms scenic drive

And last of all...
Girly and Puss

That is all for this Sunday

HAVE A FANTASTIC DAY
AND WEEK AHEAD :)

I also used a different color for the square, it is mixcolors of the blues. Looks OK so far. So, the center is a Fiery circle and the outside is the Blues square. Go figure.. Teresa has turned a circle into a square HERE. That is what I am trying to achieve. Maybe more placemats hmmmm......Pics later... ;)

Pics and Updates

Hello on this patchy sunny day on 12th May Tuesday

I am great, just wanting to update on what I am crocheting at the moment.

Remember the fiery mixcolored yarn, yellow, orange and red, that I have fell in love, well I wanted to make coasters, so I did and they started curing on the ends, like that affect, so I made two and guess what, they were a perfect fit for my cups, nice and cosy.

I have completed the table runner, coasters and placemat set.

Remember the first coasters I mentioned, at the top of this page, well as I putting the crocheted coasters onto wooden coasters, using some glue, I decided to put those curled coasters on top of the flat ones, as you can see in the photo, not bad, I love it, makes the whole coaster stronger.

I have, eventually, made a crochet flat circle, thanks to Sara :) So simple, using the hat/beanie beginning, crocheting few rounds, which keeps the center flat and then continue in the pattern increasing by two stitches in each round. It was right in front of me, but knowing me, I look for other ways of doing the same thing. Anyways, thank you Sara, for pointing out the obvious and very simple and already written by Teresa.
I am using the fiery mixcolored 100% acrylic yarn, I will keep going until I have a rug type to place on the floor or maybe even hang on the wall !!

I have recently feel in love with hoop earrings. I bought three sized hoops but they do not suit me :( The other day I was watching The View and one the presenter ladies was wearing hoop earrings, but they looked like a spiral affect, I liked that, so I thought, hmmm, I can make those with my tinted and copper wire that I have, so I tried them and they are the best earrings I have so far made and loving them and I have been wearing the silver tinted copper ones ever since. :)

Here are the copper spiral earrings

And here are my favorite ones, tinted copper spiral earrings. I started making small ones, but I wanted them larger, so I made both and put them together to wear.

For some time I have been following and listening to Lion Brand Yarns, Yarn Craft, this is a podcast that comes out couple of times a month, all about the Lion Brand Yarn. Discussing projects for crocheting and knitting and much more. Just listening and updating to the ones I have missed today and I thought I would share this with you. I like listening to them while I surf the net.

Here is their Podcasts - YarnCraft

Well I think that is all for now.

Hope all mothers had a Fantastic and Enjoyable Mother's Day :)

HAVE A GREAT AND HAPPY DAY :)
