Featured Etsy Seller #5 + Muffins

Hello and how are you today?

Here DownUnder is very windy, sun has come out and it is not so cold, fresh and a bit warm.

Good excuse to put out my resin molds that I did yesterday, so that they cure quicker. I also discovered that I could dip my finished resin objects into resin again to give them that shine and luster, not bad. Quick and easy and must let hang and drip from string for excess to flow away. Much better result then just polishing with paste and cloth, hmmm.

Oh yes I have just switched off the oven, I have made fresh chocolate chip muffins, the whole house wiffs of chocolate, they are cooling at the moment, I cannot wait to get stuck into them for morning tea.

Ok, ladies and gentle it is time to introduce my fifth featured Etsy seller.

Here work is just stunning and she sells professionally to photographers, without further adieu I present

After the Bump
After the bump specializes in the cute photography accessories you need for your bundle after the bump is gone.

My shop features crocheted items for newborn and child photographers, mainly baby cocoons and bowls, hanging pods, beanies and caps, and headbands. The majority of my items are my own unique designs and are very original in nature. I love using earthy tones as well as bright and vibrant colors in my products. I use all different types of textures of yarn as well, from 100% cotton yarn to chunky thick and thin yarn. I’m a yarnaholic, always looking for a fun new fix where ever I go.

I learned how to crochet at a very young age, but I really started doing something with it when my baby boy was born in October. I quit my full-time job a few weeks before he came, not thinking I would need to find work again. My delivery was a bit unconventional and my little man had to spend some time in the NICU, so he and I racked up quite the medical bill. In order to put a dent in things, I thought it time, once again, to go back to work. My main priority will always be to stay home with my baby, so creating my shop, After the Bump, made perfect sense. Of course, my few sales haven’t done much to curb the bill, but it’s a start.

Shadow Shot Sunday #9 & an Award

Hello, how are you?

I am fantastic today, Sunday 28th June, DownUnder, a gorgeous morning, sunny and bright :)

On Saturday, we went Gliding. A perfect day for flying, no wind, clouds, a bit of sun and cool. I will blog about this adventure later on. By the way, I went up three (3) times and I took controls, for a couple of minutes on my second flight. Excellent :)

Anyways here is my shadow shot for Sunday #9.

Just another day, outside sunny, everyone outside and happy, love this shot of puddy cat and birdy getting along.

If you would like to join in the fun and check out other participants photos, head on over to
Hey Harriet.

I am also happy to accept an award from Hey Harriet (scroll down for the award). She received this award herself and wanted to share this with all the participants from Shadow Shot Sunday. I am happy to oblige and pass on to 8 persons worthy of the friend award and also state 7 things about me.

Deliver this award to eight bloggers who must choose eight (8) more and include this cleverly written text into the body of their award, 7 things about me.

1. I am seriously addicted to the color purple.
2. I am hopelessly in love with Gliding, freedom.
3. I love taking photos of the country, sky, gliding.
4. I love working with resin and many colors.
5. I love crocheting with multitude of mixed colored yarn.
6. I love the taste of pizza, I would eat one every day.
7. Finally I love to shave my head, no more bad hair days.

I am happy to pass this award to the following:-

All the above are my best bloggers I read every day and learn about and from them.
Thank you all who love to share their daily adventures and creations.

Next Featured Etsy Seller

Good morning, I would like to feature my 4th Etsy seller today. She has already featured me on her blog, so if you would like to know more about me please visit my featured page.

********************

Let me introduce you to

Remi February

Art is my everything as well as making people smile.
Growing up I've always wanted to share my creations and dreams with others.

I became a member of the Etsy community because I wanted to share my art projects with others. Certain groups of people already know me through Youtube and Art Shows, but I wanted to show them that I have other talents as well.
My store is treated like a portfolio where you can buy a piece of my imagination. Most of what I end up selling is jewelry, but I’m also in the process of making supplies for other crafters to use. The idea of creating something special for someone makes me think that I have contributed to his or her happiness.
That’s why I love being creative!

Please visit her Etsy shop and Blog, she has many wonderful creations to share

Thank you so much Remi for sharing your craft.

3rd Featured Etsy Seller & Resin Updates

Hello, today I will feature my third Etsy seller for the week.

How are you all? On this beautiful and sunny Wednesday morning, 24th June.

********************

Let me introduce you to

Epheriell Designs

It's such an amazing thing when you transform something as mundane as a roll of wire into something beautiful!

"Hi, my name's Jessica Van Den, and I create artisan jewelery under the brand name Epheriell. I'm an Aussie girl who has discovered her passion in jewelery design.

I found my 'true love' when I started working more with wire and metal, and seeing what I could create with that. My current style is quite clean and contemporary - I just love working with silver, brass, and copper wire. It's such an amazing thing when you transform something as mundane as a roll of wire into something beautiful! I just recently took a silver-smithing course, too, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how those skills allow my jewelery to evolve.

You can learn more about me and my journey by visiting my blog, Epheriell Designs.

Please visit her Etsy shop,
she has beautiful contemporary jewelry.

HI all, here is my post for the day.

I am good, making lots of resin stuff this week, I am into swirls and florescent yellows and a touch of green with bright gold. I also bought a new heart mold.

I have a new friend to go with my resin exploring, it is called THe Hooby TOol. Now I can with much ease and comfort sand, drill and polish my resin jewels. THis tool is excellent, cuts the time down spending on hand sanding and polishing. Now I can make small holes so I can hang some of those jewels around my neck and be proud and say I have truly made these and they are beautiful.

Thank you for reading and come back soon, more featured Etsy sellers to come.

She has a variety of handbags and jewelry in different and colorful designs to choose from, especially her winter line of crocheted handbags, they are totally unique and never seen before.

Let me introduce you to

GladRaggz

I've been creating since I was very young but it wasn't until the last few years that I thought my work good enough to sell for profit. That's how my Etsy shop came to be!

What I'm most proud of is my winter line of crocheted handbags. They're totally unique, and I haven't seen anything like them anywhere else! I love vintage jewelry, and have used choice pieces in adorning most of my winter handbags. My Red Party Handbag has the most views, and this purse sort of sums up the basis of what my Etsy shop is all about.

Jewelry making is something I stumbled on for a couple of different reasons. I use all precious metals in my jewelry, and try to price each piece reasonably. I love pearls, and especially like my "Sand and Sea" rope pearl necklace because it reminds me of the clear blue waters and sugar white sand of the beaches near my home.

Sand and Sea pearl rope necklace

My sunny tote is one of my ever increasing inventory of summer totes. It says "summer" in a way that can't be missed.

I hope you'll stop by my Etsy shop and see what's new! Thanks for stopping by!

First Featured Etsy Seller

Good morning to all, on this beautiful, bright and sunny Monday morning @ 8:45am on 22nd June :)

I am happy to introduce to you my first featured Etsy seller today.

********************

Her art work is beautiful and graceful yet full of color and life.
Let me introduce you to

Amberafternoon
She is known as the Fiber Artist who makes “paintings” with thread

Please visit her Amberafternoon Etsy shop and Blog.

She also has two other handmade shops, SunnyDay and Linkit2Trinket.

She also has another blog Plumdrop and you may also follow her on twitter, here.

Her two favorite Etsy shops are

John Toft Basketry - who specializes in fine hand-woven baskets of cane, willow and grapevine
Freshly Skweezed - who specializes in stationary, greetings and invitations

Below you may read about her artistic qualities and how she got started in her favorite craft.

I am an artist who works in many different mediums, genres, and styles. I not only produce Hand Embroidered Fiber Art, but also Oil and Watercolor Paintings, Clay and Metal Sculptures and multiple lines of Printmaking (Intaglio, Lithography, Serigraphy, and Relief Printmaking/ wood cuts ). However, I’m best known as a Fiber Artist who makes “paintings” with thread. My hand-embroidered jewelry is Art that you can wear. I have created heirloom quality hand embroidered wedding ring pillows, drawstring bags and wall art containing your wedding date.

I've been hand embroidering items my entire life. I started by learning from the elder women in my family. My first projects were rag dolls, which I embroidered their faces.

I stumbled upon Etsy completely by accident. I’m very please to be a part of such a talented group of artisans. There is a lot of diverse talent on Etsy.

My workday usually begins with blogging, tweeting, and trying to promote my works. Then the creative (and fun!) part of my day begins. I sit and sketch and, like all artists, I carefully choose which thread colors to use. The initial design conception may be time consuming, but I think it's worth it!

My short-term goal for my Etsy shop is to cater to Brides-to-be by creating custom ring pillows, drawstring bags, and wall art. My long-term goals are expanding my jewelry and wedding designs, adding new designs, and promoting myself professionally.

Amberafternoon has so much to offer, check out her

Thank you so much amberafternoon for sharing your craft.

New Bookthong for Sale

Hello, how's it going on this sunny and beautiful day here in Auzzie Land, on 18th June, Thursday?

I am great :)

I have listed a new bookthong full of colors of the rainbow, check here

I enjoyed putting this one together, lots of colors. I bought a small container of mixed colors seed beads and all I did was pick up at random beads with the end of the beading wire. Slow process but fun because you do not know what colors will be picked up.

The swirl at the end of the bookthong is fab to make. I used tinted copper wire and twisted the purple beading wire around it then hand shaped the wire into a spiral. Once completed I pushed the shape out, thus created a 3D affect of the spiral.

On the other end I made small dangle, with tiny shaped beads and spun tinted copper wire around to give the beads a wire wrapping.

I enjoyed putting this piece together, I hope you all like the design and consider using one for your favorite book. Enjoy.

Close up! Great experience

Hello all, how are you on this Wednesday the 17th of June?
It is an Ok morning no sunshine, yet, here in Ozzie Land.

Just a note, my small treasury is on the previous post.

Ya hooo, I just reached 120 hearts in my Crochet Creations store, how cool, thank you so much :)

Last week I had a great experience in my own backyard.
I have an apple tree and I get visitors for breakfast, lunch and dinner.
They are the most beautifully colored parrots.
They were so calm and at peace, that I was able to take close up shots, I was
about 50cm away from them pointing my camera at them, but they did keep an eye on me.
Here are some photos I took. I felt I could almost touch them and feed them from my hand.

Bottoms up and lets dig in!!

and here is my Puddy cat, he was around me when I was taking the shots of the parrots, now how calm and trusting they are, it is so beautiful. What I feel inside reflects to them! :)

As I am waiting for details for my first featured Etsy seller, I will give you some oddities to read.

The average person's left hand does 56% of the typing.
There are 293 ways to make change for a dollar.
Rubber bands last longer when refrigerated.
The toothbrush was invented in 1498.
Mageriricophobia is the intense fear of having to cook.
People do not get sick from cold weather; it's from being indoors a lot more.
Guinness Book of Records holds the record for being the book most stolen from public libraries.
On average, a four-year-old child asks 437 questions a day.

I love these little oddities, I should have collected them, I think I will from now on and post some now and then, cool.

Have a fabulous day everyone :) Smile and be Happy :)
